Professor Peter Brunt (Chair)

Professor Brunt was a physician in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and clinical professor of medicine at Aberdeen University until 2001. One of the numerous positions he has held was Physician to her Majesty the Queen. He is currently a member of the Scottish Ministerial Advisory Committee on Alcohol Problems and Chairman of the UK Medical Council on Alcohol.

Dr Evelyn Gillan (Chief Executive)

Dr Evelyn Gillan is the newly appointed Chief Executive of Alcohol Focus Scotland. Prior to joining Alcohol Focus Scotland, Evelyn was the Director of SHAAP (Scottish Health Action on Alcohol Problems), an advocacy group established by the Scottish Medical Royal Colleges and Faculties. She is the co-author of two recent alcohol policy reports - Untold Damage (2009) and Alcohol, Price, Policy and Public Health (2007). Before joining SHAAP, Evelyn was Head of Public Affairs at the Royal College of Nursing (Scotland), and prior to that, Co-Director of the Zero Tolerance Charitable Trust.
