Problem drinking ruins lives. Over 65,000 children in Scotland are living with a parent's alcohol problem and alcohol is a major cause of family breakdowns. One in 2 women and 2 in 3 men exceed the recommended daily consumption limits and 6 Scots die every single day because of alcohol.

Alcohol Focus Scotland raises awareness about the risks of alcohol misuse, trains people to help those with alcohol problems, and campaigns to influence alcohol policy.

As a charity, we rely a great deal on the generosity of our supporter companies, charitable trusts and the general public. We are extremely fortunate in having ongoing support from a number of individuals, many of whom now make regular monthly payments to us by direct debit or standing order. We couldn't survive without their financial support.
