National Licensing Conference 2010
Review & Pre-view

This year's National Licensing Conference will take place on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th September 2010 at MacDonald Aviemore Highland Resort.

The theme for this year's conference will be Review & Pre-View providing delegates with the opportunity to review the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 1 year on from implementation and also offering the chance to look at licence reviews from different perspectives.

Our programme includes a key note address from Kenny MacAskill, Cabinet Minister for Justice at the Scottish Government, Professor Russel Griggs OBE, Chair of the Regulatory Review Group, Joanna Brynes, Licensing Lawyer at Young and Partners, Alistair Forsyth, Researcher, Glasgow Caledonian University and representatives from Police and health.

This year's conference will also include a round table discussion and following the success of last year a panel debate on the key issues facing Scotland.
