Workbook for Staff of Licensed Premises
This workbook is for all staff. It's an ideal tool for personal licence holders when providing the 2 hours minimum training to all of their staff required by the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005. ServeWise Online Responsible Service of Alcohol course for Staff Working in Scottish Licensed Premises
This course is for all staff. It meets the requirement for staff training under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005. It is overseen by a licensed ServeWise Trainer, and offers online support. The online course can be completed in one or more sessions, at a time and place to suit the candidate.

ServeWise staff course
This course is for general staff who serve alcohol. It can be used to provide the basic training for staff, with the Trainer signing a Record of Training, or staff can choose to sit the exam and gain the nationally recognised City & Guilds qualification, the Certificate for Staff Working in Scottish Licensed Premises. The course is ideal for those who wish to do more than the legally required minimum.
- Two and a half hour training course with home study
- Delivered by licensed ServeWiseTrainers
- Optional - 30 question multiple choice assessment, awarded by City & Guilds and accredited by SQA Accrediting Body for the purposes of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.
- ServeWise staff courses and the Certificate for Staff Working in Scottish Licensed Premises are available through Alcohol Focus Scotland and its satellite centres, and through selected City & Guilds centres.
