We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards, using WorldPay - the leading payment service provider (PSP) that we believe to be the most secure way for you to shop online.

WorldPay is a credit/debit card processing system that authorises transactions at the time of purchase. As part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, it provides a secure gateway for online shopping.

When you are ready to pay for the items in your shopping cart you will automatically be directed to WorldPay's secure site to enter your credit/debit card details for payment. WorldPay will authorise your card and take payment on our behalf before returning you to the Alcohol Focus Scotland website.

These systems have been developed over several years, using state of the art technology and undergo regular scrutiny from their banking and other strategic partners to ensure they conform to their high standards.

When you receive you regular bank statements, any payments made online for our goods will be identified as Alcohol Focus Scotland and WorldPay.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated, the following standard sliding scale of charges applies if you cancel your place at an for Alcohol Focus Scotland course or event:

A £10 administration fee will be charged on all substitutions. Places many not be transferred without prior agreement from Alcohol Focus Scotland.

National Licensing Conference places cancelled 6 weeks before the event will be liable for a fee which may the full delegate rate.

ServeWise Personal Licence Holder and Staff courses have different timescales applicable:

Refunds are given at the discretion of Alcohol Focus Scotland. Please note that Alcohol Focus Scotland may cancel a course or event up to 3 working days before the course or event. In this case, we will make every attempt to notify you and if you have prepaid, a full refund will be made available.

Ill health - Alcohol Focus Scotland reserves the right to request persons who appear unwell or show symptoms of any infectious or contagious disease to leave any training or event. Where candidates wish to transfer to training at a later date there will be no administration charge.

Refund policy for goods - A number of publications may be purchased from Alcohol Focus Scotland. Note that these are normally valid for a given period of time. Alcohol Focus Scotland can only offer a credit note where goods are still current and are returned in a reasonable condition. If the goods are damaged then a replacement will be made.
