Scottish Alcohol and Tobacco Policy Summit

An opportunity to explore the links, differences and similarities between tobacco and alcohol in society and public health responses:
How can we innovate to change public attitudes towards tobacco
and alcohol and reduce consumption?
In areas such as international regulation, advertising restrictions, pricing, conduct of prevention campaigns and provision of treatment for those harmed by tobacco and alcohol there is a lot to learn from each other. This conference will allow delegates to do just that.
- A keynote address by Nicola Sturgeon, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing
- A question and answer session featuring key spokespersons from the main political parties in Scotland
- Leading figures from the fields of alcohol and tobacco control will debate and discuss with delegates how best to reduce the harm caused by alcohol and tobacco.
