Whole Population Approach: Implementation at a Local Level
04/08/2011

On 27 June Alcohol Focus Scotland delivered a presentation at the Scottish Government event Tackling Alcohol Misuse: Implementing a Whole Population Approach: Next Steps for Alcohol and Drug Partnerships (ADPs). The aim of the event was to explore progress on implementing the approach with ADPs and discuss the kind of support and tools that may be helpful in taking this agenda forward. Alcohol Focus Scotland gave an overview of how whole population approaches have been incorporated into its work plans and provided ideas on areas that ADPs could consider as part of their whole population approach development.
Alcohol Focus Scotland is using the information gathered from the event to produce a whole population approach briefing paper for ADPs. This will be available on the website and disseminated to ADPs by email when it is finalised.
