Are you passionate about using evidence to affect change in policy and practice? Committed to working in partnership to support the implementation of national policy at local level? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated and skilled team.

As Scotland’s national alcohol charity, Alcohol Focus Scotland seeks to prevent and reduce alcohol harm.  In support of this aim we support local Alcohol and Drug Partnerships to implement evidence-based approaches to reducing alcohol harm, through the provision of learning opportunities, sharing of information and developing tools and resources.  We are looking for an experienced policy development professional to lead on our local engagement work.  Initially, this work will focus on:

  • Collaborating with local partners to create an alcohol-related deaths prevention toolkit, using the findings from national and local deaths reviews.
  • Leading the coordination and development of support for Alcohol and Drug Partnerships on preventative approaches to reducing alcohol harm at local level.

If you share our commitment to evidence-based policy development, we’d love to hear from you.
