Oh Lila goes digital
We have exciting news! We are delighted to be able to share with you the brand new Oh Lila digital resources launched today as part of Digital Learning Week.
Building on the successful existing Oh Lila resources we can now unveil our new Oh Lila animated film, interactive film and game and an online home link resource for parents.
Recognising that children of today are very much digital natives, these new resources bring the loveable characters to life in a new interactive and exciting way, while remaining true to the original illustrations.
Oh Lila builds resilience and protective factors in pre-schoolchildren supporting them to increase emotional intelligence and learn valuable life skills, including helping them to identify trusted adults and develop their social and problem solving skills.
The new resources have been developed in consultation with and piloted by nurseries in Glasgow, Renfrewshire and East Dunbartonshire. We would like to give our sincere thanks to everyone who gave up their time to take part in the development and pilot for their creativity, input and feedback.
Our associated Oh Lila training programme provides people working with young children the expertise and confidence to better identify vulnerable children supporting them to intervene at an earlier stage.
We are delighted that this project has been supported by funding from Big Lottery Awards for All. Since Oh Lila was first launched in 2011 there have been huge changes in how we all use technology and we’re pleased to be able to bring Oh Lila to a digital audience.
