Share your story

Hands If you would like to share your story about the impact alcohol has had on your life, we’d love to hear from you.

How sharing your story helps

Whether you have lived experience of an alcohol problem, or of a loved one has or has had an alcohol problem, or you work with, or support people impacted by alcohol, your story is important to us.

Stories like yours can encourage others to speak out about their experience, challenge stigma and provide powerful testimony that things need to change.

How will your story be used?

Your story could be featured on the ‘Your Stories’ section of our website, to highlight the real and personal impact of alcohol harm.

We may contact you to ask if you’d be happy to talk about your experiences on our website or social media, or maybe helping out with a short media interview. There may also be opportunities to give an opinion or comment about topical issues.

Your story could also be used to make a difference in our policy and campaigns work to bring real-life examples to decision-makers. Personal stories often have a powerful impact and can influence their choices on important issues.

We’d never use any part of your story without asking you first.
