Licensing Board Member (LBM) and Licensing Standards Officer (LSO) Qualifications

After 19 years and having awarded many hundreds of qualifications, Alcohol Focus Scotland ceases to deliver the Licensing Board Member (LBM) and Licensing Standards Officer (LSO) qualifications as of 30 June 2026 and will no longer be the awarding body for these qualifications.

Over the past two years we have worked in collaboration with the new awarding body, the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS), to support the introduction of these qualifications to their portfolio.
